Who it is for

Learners preparing for everyday, academic and professional communication. Placement is based on demonstrated ability at A1, A2, B1 or B2, rather than age or school year alone.

Learning objectives

  • Develop listening, speaking, reading and writing at the assigned CEFR level.
  • Use grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation to communicate clearly in practical situations.
  • Ask, clarify, collaborate, write, report and present appropriately for the audience.
  • Build an authentic portfolio and use YARA responsibly without replacing independent performance.

Program structure

Six stackable courses

Course duration, session frequency and learning hours are agreed according to learner needs. Courses may be purchased separately.

05

06

University and Professional Communication

Training method

Learn → Practise → Operate → Build. Reflexion Operating-Based Learning™ uses a simulated company and contextual activities, including travel, museums and presentations. Session A models language and supports guided practice; Session B applies it in a supervised scenario, followed by feedback, evidence and revision.

Applied learning with SOSME

Learners hold educational roles in a controlled SOSME OS company: arranging schedules, writing emails, joining meetings, reviewing information and preparing reports. Data is fictional or anonymized. This is an educational simulation, not employment or access to live client systems. YARA assistance is permitted under teacher rules, disclosed and verified through the learner’s own performance.

Final project & portfolio

Build a portfolio across six courses, including speaking and writing samples, reflections and representative SOSME workflows. The final course brings together applications, interviews and presentations in a final simulation. Each course can also be taken separately with its own scenario.

Assessment & progress

Placement and a baseline profile establish the starting point. Weekly evidence, six course challenges and individual verification track learning. Baseline, mid-program and final reports explain strengths, gaps and next steps to parents. Performance is rated on a four-point scale against the assigned level, with an exit assessment and portfolio review.

Completion & certification pathway

Course certificates apply where the completion requirements are met; the full-program certificate requires all approved completion requirements. The curriculum is benchmarked against CEFR descriptions, not represented as Cambridge-accredited or endorsed. Completing the program does not guarantee advancement to the next CEFR level or an external examination result.
